Our basic principles are the quality assurance, hygiene and the safety of our products. Consequently, we cooperate with external laboratories “Biolabcrete” in Heraklion for further analysis and suitability of our products.
Major priority for our business is to ensure the top quality of our pomegranates and our products in all stages from the growing of our fruits until the making of our products. To ensure top quality, our 100% organic pomegranates and all of our organic products are certified by the organization “Organic Product Control and Certification DIO”.
Our company is committed to the quality and safety of our products to achieve and maintain high international quality assurance standards, hygiene and food safety by applying the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), ELOT EN ISO 22000: 2005 and ELOT EN ISO 14001: 2015. These systems are applied in the whole production process of each food and cover all stages of production, from receipt of raw materials to the final disposal and consumption of our products.
A few words for the HACCP system
The application of HACCP became mandatory for EU countries in accordance with Directive 93/43 / EEC. The application of HACCP is mandatory in any business related to food and drinks, commercial and manufacturing. Directive 93/43 was replaced by EU Regulation 852/2004. According to regulation all companies that deal with food, trade, manufacturing etc. must be complied with the implementation of the HACCP system.
